Kora et le Mechanix explore the fields of abstract experimental ambient music. They came onto the scene in 2004 on a compilation of selected Czech and Slovak electronic music entitled V/A: Out of Place Artefacts (Mufonic Records). Michal Kořán previously played in Richter Band and Forgotten Orchestra of Dreamland, and in 2003, received the Slovak DOSKY award for best score for the theatrical production of Peron. Filip Homola worked previously with Die Archa and Znamení kruhu.
