NEXTERA started as an independent label in the beginning of 1996 by releasing mostly mixed DJ compilations and artist albums from the international club & dance scene, mainly licensing underground or progressive house and techno for domestic market with occasional experimental or commercial releases.

In the beginning of 2003, encouraged by our successful Lustmord and The Hafler Trio releases, NEXTERA fully transformed to a new entity tracking most interesting new and established artists worldwide (not only from the so-called ambient scene - since 1995 our personal favorite genre). Most of our releases are exclusive artist albums coming from both international and domestic artists. We hope that you will enjoy our CD albums and also learn about less known artists who are continuously very carefully selected just for your listening pleasure.
